This page explains how Filemazing uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on the public site and blog.

How to manage choices
You can change optional cookie choices at any time through Cookie Preferences in the site footer. Necessary cookies remain enabled because they are required for login, security, and core site operation.
Cookie categories
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session management, CSRF protection, and essential UI preferences such as theme selection. | Necessary for service delivery and security. |
| Advertising | Google AdSense on blog pages, including ad delivery, basic measurement, fraud prevention, and frequency capping. | Consent. |
Google AdSense
When enabled on blog pages and when you allow optional advertising cookies, Filemazing loads Google AdSense. Google may set or access cookies and similar storage to serve ads, limit repeated ad impressions, measure delivery, and help detect invalid traffic or abuse.
This implementation is configured for non-personalized ads by default. If your deployment later enables personalized ads or serves users in regions where Google requires a certified consent management platform, additional configuration or CMP controls may be required before ad requests are sent.
Google details its own processing in the Google Privacy Policy and advertising technology disclosures.
Storage duration
Filemazing stores your cookie preference locally in your browser so we can remember your choice. Session and security cookies follow the application session configuration. Third-party advertising storage duration is controlled by Google and the browser environment.
